Wolfram Große | Clarinet

Wolfram Große studied at Berlin’s Hanns Eisler College of Music under Ewald Koch. A prizewinner at numerous competitions, such as in Munich, Markneukirchen and Colmar, his career as an orchestral musician began in 1988 when he was appointed co-principal clarinet at the Berlin Symphony Orchestra. From 1989 to 1999 he was principal clarinet at Frankfurt’s Opera House, after which he moved to Dresden to take up the same position with the Staatskapelle. Since 2000 Wolfram Große has also been principal clarinet with the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra.
