Anselm Telle
Anselm Telle, who hails from Heidelberg, completed his violin studies in Berlin at the University of the Arts with Uwe-Martin Haiberg and at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music with Ulf Wallin.
Anselm Telle has been a member of the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden since 1999. Prior to that, he was a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the Orchestra Academy of the Munich Philharmonic.
He has been a member of the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra since 2005. He also devotes himself to chamber music and teaches violin and orchestral studies at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden.
In addition to his orchestral activities, he studied historical musicology in the ‘Erschließung älterer Musik’ (Exploration of Older Music) programme at the Technical University of Dresden.
