Kapelle für Kids: »Carl und Caspar«

They were masters of their art and international stars of the Romantic era: Carl Maria von Weber and Caspar David Friedrich. One was a musician and composer, the other a painter. Both grappled with the great themes of the Romantic period: the beauty, but also the harshness, of nature, and the human emotions of happiness, despair, and everything in between. And both met in Dresden, the city where they lived for many years and created the most important part of their artistic work. In the concert program "Carl and Caspar," we embark on a journey to discover the traces of these two great artists, traces that are still clearly audible and visible in Dresden today.
