Evening box office

The box office is located in the Semperoper and opens one hour before the concert begins. The box office in Semper Zwei opens half an hour before the performance begins.

Standing room in the Semperoper

Standing room in the Semperoper is located in the middle of the 4th circle. Tickets for these places can be purchased from the box office for sold-out performances.

Internet

Tickets can be booked via our website www.staatskapelle-dresden.de by providing credit card details or via PayPal.
A 3D seating plan with a 360-degree view from the selected seat gives you an ideal impression of the sightline to the stage  –  simply click on »360-degree view from seat«.
If you choose to have your ticket delivered as an eTicket, we will send you the eTicket free of charge by email together with your booking confirmation. Simply print it out or download it to your smartphone. A fee of € 3 is charged for postal delivery of tickets.

Visitor service

From the start of sales on 25 March 2026 at 10 a.m., tickets, subscriptions and bundles can be ordered for the entire 2026/27 season. Payment is possible by invoice (bank transfer), credit card or at the box office.
Subscribers can renew their subscriptions or purchase new subscriptions and tickets for the 2026/27 season either online or from our Visitor Service from 10 a.m. on 10 March 2026.

No ticket returns or exchanges

We regret that it is not possible to return or exchange your purchased ticket(s). For this reason, we recommend taking out a ticket insurance (e.g. from ERGO Reiseversicherung) to safeguard against unforeseen events.

Discount for severe disabilities

Subject to ticket availability, handicapped visitors holding a valid pass (at least 80 percent degree of disability) may purchase a halfprice concessionary ticket. Carers indicated on the pass may also be eligible for the same concession. These reductions are only available for concerts in the Semperoper priced € 12 and above in seating categories 1 to 6. Concessions are non-transferable and cannot be granted on previously purchased tickets. No concessions are available for tickets bought online. A valid pass must be presented on entry. If no valid pass is presented, the difference between the discounted ticket and a standard ticket must be reimbursed.

Wheelchair spaces

Separately labelled wheelchair spaces are available for wheelchair users in the stalls and on the 1st and 2nd tiers in various seat categories. Each seat is accessible via the lift. Please note that access for electric wheelchairs cannot be guaranteed in the 1st and 2nd tiers due to narrow doors. No wheelchair spaces are available on the 3rd and 4th tiers. The labelled wheelchair spaces can be requested at the Visitor Service. If these are sold out, no other seats can be provided as wheelchair spaces.

Discounts for children

Reduced-price tickets (50 percent discount) can be purchased for children up to 16 years. The discount is granted on tickets with a minimum ticket price of € 12 for categories 1 to 6.

Youth package take4concer for € 30

The Take4Concert youth package costs € 30 and includes four concerts with the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.

It is valid per season for school pupils aged 16 and older, trainees, volunteers in the Federal Voluntary Service (BFD) and in their social year as well as students up to the age of 30 on presentation of a valid school or student ID.
Free choice of selected concerts at the Semperoper and other venues. The concerts included in the package are expected to be published in September.

Tickets for schoolchildren and students

Pupils, students, trainees and volunteers in the Federal Voluntary Service and in the social year can purchase available remaining tickets for € 10 or € 20 (from price category KON10) at the box office from 30 minutes before the performance the performance. The age limit is 30 years, a valid school or student ID card must be presented. There is no entitlement to this reduction does not exist.

Tickets for selected concerts can be purchased for only € 10 by school pupils, students, trainees as well as those engaged in the Federal Voluntary Service and Social Year via www.staatskapelle-dresden.de. You have the opportunity to select seats from the comfort of your own home and plan early for your concert visit. This offer is available to persons aged 30 and under; a valid school or student ID must be presented at the door.

Gift vouchers

A gift voucher is an ideal present for family and friends by allowing the recipient to choose the concert they would most like to attend. Simply decide the amount you would like to give. Vouchers are valid for three years and cannot be redeemed for cash. Book online at semperoper.de or from our Visitor Service. Gift vouchers can be sent digitally (free of charge) or by post with a delivery fee of  3 €. Postal delivery of vouchers can take approx. one week (DPD transport conditions apply).
 

Concert introductions
are given 45 minutes before the start of the performance in the opera cellar (exception: 6th Symphony Concert). There is no charge for ticket-holders. Please inform about current changes in advance.

Programmes
can be purchased in the main entrance hall as well as from service staff.
