Kapelle für Kids: »Umzug«

It's hard to believe! In the 35 years that Ludwig van Beethoven lived in Vienna, he moved around 70 times. But no matter how often he changed his residence, he always took his music with him! Hardly any musician has moved as often as Beethoven, and all within a single city! At least, that's not known for any member of the Staatskapelle Dresden, nor for any of our guests who are contributing to the program. We welcome the young musicians of the MUSAIK Orchestra, the Staatskapelle's partner orchestra from Dresden-Prohlis.
Many have surely experienced that starting a new life in a new place isn't always easy. Especially then, music can be a great support and a true source of joy—whether it's packed in your luggage or discovered in your unfamiliar new home.
