Kapelle für Kids: »Yuki«

In our program, we're focusing on the instrument most frequently found in the orchestra, one that's known and loved all over the world! It's even found its way into our everyday language: "The sky's the limit," "I'll tell you what I think," or "I totally messed that up" are just a few of the common expressions featuring this wonderful and versatile instrument. You've probably guessed it! We're talking about the violin, of course. Or, in Italian, the fiddle. For this, we've invited Yuki Manuela Janke, the concertmaster of the first violins of the Staatskapelle Berlin. Yuki will not only demonstrate her violin but also show us all the things you can play and discover on it. And she's sure to amaze us!
