Dóra Varga

The Hungarian flutist Dóra Varga-Andert received her first flute lessons at the age of 7 in her hometown Eger. After studying under Gergely Ittzés in Hungary and Davide Formisano in Stuttgart, where she graduated with honors, she is currently taking lessons in Michael Kofler's master class at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She was a DAAD scholarship holder and an academician at SWR Stuttgart and the Staatskapelle Dresden. Since December 2013, she has been the principal piccoloist of the Staatskapelle Dresden.
