Julius Rönnebeck

Julius Rönnebeck was born in Stuttgart in 1971. He began playing the recorder before starting school and discovered the sound of the horn for himself at a children's concert by the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra. He played this instrument in numerous youth orchestras (European Union Youth Orchestra, Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, state and federal youth orchestras). At the age of 23, he joined the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden as second horn player.

In addition to his orchestral activities, Julius Rönnebeck is a member of the Kapellquintett Dresden and co-initiator and presenter of the “Kapelle für Kids” format.
