Reimond Püschel

Reimond Püschel was born in Dresden in 1964. As a child, he received lessons in trumpet, double bass, and piano. He studied double bass from 1981 to 1987 at the Franz Liszt University of Music in Weimar in the class of Prof. Horst-Dieter Wenkel. He has been a member of the Staatskapelle Dresden since 1987.

His great passion is teaching, and he encourages young musicians to take up the double bass at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden, the affiliated Saxon State Music High School, and the Giuseppe Sinopoli Academy of the Staatskapelle Dresden.
